Walder’s practice is focused in the areas of Real Estate and Business, handling transactions, disputes, foreclosures and alternatives, business consulting, and working to achieve creative and practical solutions to challenges resulting from the economic changes to the business and real estate climate.   As a former president and part owner of a technology development company, and a current business consultant, Walder provides experienced business advice to business organizations and their owners.  With a history of litigation and bankruptcy practice, and as a business owner, he has the perspective and practical understanding to effectively work with individuals and entities in challenging business and real estate situations.

Background:
After graduating from the University of Colorado Law School, Walder clerked for the Honorable Christopher J. Munch in Colorado’s First Judicial District, working on a litigation docket which included civil, criminal and domestic cases.  After the Judicial Clerkship, he began practicing in Boulder, Colorado, becoming a partner in Gordon & Walder, and then in Walder Law Offices, focusing on civil litigation, business and real estate transactions, as well as business consulting.  Recent experience includes advising and directing start-up technology development companies and working with real estate owners and investors.  He is a current or past member of a number of bar and professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Boulder County Bar Association.  Over the years Walder has assisted a number of non-profit and charitable organizations in the community, including currently Community Cycles.
